Every visitor will tell you: entering La Dame de Paris is like stepping into a place where history meets the present, where tradition and modernity subtly intertwine. A tribute to Parisian cafés and the cathedral. This is how we imagined the two signs of La Dame de Paris, designed by interior designer Gilles Guillot.
And then we had a crazy idea: why not commission artists to create a unique visual universe, in line with our desires? An illustration that would connect the café to the cathedral, which we would use as a tapestry on the walls, but also in our overall identity.
This is how we met Amandine and Richard from Calicot Studio. They did much more than transcribe this vision into their drawing: they breathed life into La Dame de Paris.
Their work, so delicate and gentle, immediately captivated us. And beyond their talent, it was also their personalities that resonated perfectly with the spirit of La Dame de Paris.
Their approach was meticulous and inspired: they hid gargoyles, played with the delicacy of the cathedral’s lacework to transcribe all its poetry… Every detail was thought out to bring to life a magical world, far from the tourist shops that line the district, always with a touch of magic and elegance.
